Job Mission:
To develop and implement the strategy for managing security operations and incidents within the company in line with the information security incident management standards and best practices.
Key Responsabilities:
- Define and implement the Cyber Security and Privacy Risk framework, policies and procedures as well as the vulnerability and incident management processes and procedures;
- Develop, manage and implement a Security Operations Centre (SOC) for monitoring, evaluating and proactive defense against cyber threats;
- Develop formal business case for the SOC including the integration of threat intelligence and monitoring services;
- Manage the business continuity and disaster recovery assurance;
- Manage the implementation of the Information Security Risk Management Frameworks through providing direction, structure, frameworks, models, plans and roadmaps;
- Identify, evaluate and adopt an information model that allow for threat intelligence to be aggregated, standardized and used in a uniform manner to understand risk and make informed cybersecurity decisions;
- Implement strategy to Integrate information security requirements into the organization’s processes and life cycle activities;
- Manage the implementation of the Cyber Security Framework (Detect, Respond and Recover);
- Develop and implement processes for preventing, detecting, identifying, analyzing and responding to information security incidents;
- Design and monitor implementation of the trainings and awareness develop a programmes for information security across the Company;
- Participate and facilitate the Audit process through follow up on resolution of audit findings and reporting on the outcomes.
Education / Business Degree:
- Minimum of 3 year degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology/Systems or related field from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing information security in a medium to large organization; of which at least large organization 3 years are in leading and managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects;
- Experience in designing, coordinating and oversee security testing procedures;
- Experience in developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases;
- Experience in Stakeholder management, with ability to work with all levels of the management within the company;
- Experience with budgeting processes.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge and understanding of IT technology domain including application platform development, application support, infrastructure platforms, data management and database technologies and security frameworks and tools;
