IT Applications Support M/F for an Oil & Gas Company


Mission : 

  • Co-ordinate Application activities in Cameroon Group under supervision of IT Manager;
  • Provide technical expertise and act as reliable Advisor/Support on Business Applications for Local Management ;
  • Provide IT Support for Business Applications, early Infrastructure to ensure high system reliability and availability under supervision of IT Manager ;
  • Handle & Manage IT Applications Incidents/Problem/Changes/Projects properly, following Company & Industry Standards, under supervision of IT Manager ;
  • The Technology Scope will include: ERP Support (Sage ERP Accpac 500), In-house Business Applications (Card System, ), Collaboration Platforms (O365, Sharepoint Online), Business Process Management (Process Analysis & Dematerialization, Workflow Development) and other Business Enabling Applications, Systems ;
  • Interact with Business Customers for Process Analysis, improvement, automations ;
  • Train Business Users as required, Develop training media (video, documentation.);
  • Conduct any responsibility, duty and special assignments assigned by IT Manager.


Profil : 

  • BAC + 5 Engineer in Information Technology ;
  • Minimum experience of 4 years in Information Systems/Technology field with good exposure and support to business ;
  • Detailed knowledge of at least one major business process and a general understanding of multiple processes and related applications ;
  • High learning capabilities, and self-learner ;
  • Demonstrated interest in Business Processes ;
  • Good Knowledge of General Accounting Principles ;
  • Good general knowledge of information technology trends and business implications ;
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Office365, Azure, Sharepoint Online Websites, Microsoft SQL Server...) ;
  • Capability to diagnose and resolve complex application related problems ;
  • Ability to develop effective working relationship/communication with end users/clients ;
  • Ability to effectively handle concurrent tasks, which involve coordinating work projects or interpreting policies and procedures especially in an environment like end-users support where tasks to certain extent cannot be planned beforehand ;
  • Able to comprehend the needs of multiple clients and business needs for a common function in an integrated system/application ;
  • Able to work with minimum supervision ;
  • High team working behavior, aim to contribute and help others.
